Hi,

My wireless settings are being changed at start up and I am losing all Internet connections until I reselect the check box "Let windows Manage my Wireless Connections". OS is XP SP3.

I think this is third party software, probably from an Apple iPod recently installed, that is causing the problem. I have checked services.msc/wireless zero and the auto start up is already selected.

Anyone know how I can fix this and stop the iPod or whatever from interfering with the settings?

Well i'm no expert but from past experience there is a possibility that you may have other wireless networking programs on your computer, potentially provided by ISPs or whatever. These tend to be programmed to load at windows startup and can interfere with stuff like the Windows wireless networking stuff. If you know or can find out which program it is, you should be able to open it up and in the options turn off the option for the program to start up when windows loads.

If there is no option then you'd have to find the programs process and deselect it in your windows startup list so it doesn't auto-boot at startup.

Hope that helps :S
