Anyone been playing this? It's basically a 4 player co-op survival horror/comedy hybrid where you have 3 days to collect as much loot from planets with randomly generated buildings as possible. The buildings are all dark, maze-like and very easy to get lost, and filled with different monsters and traps. The most compelling thing about it is the proximity chat, which is done to perfection.

It looks very jank, but it is a literal one-man operation, and it doesn't make getting lost in the pitch black with weird noises everywhere, and getting no replies from your teammates any less terrifying. There's a ton of Youtube compilations that have blown up in recent weeks with highlights, although it will spoil the monsters.

Yup. Played quite a bit of it and really enjoy it. And agree that the sound stage is brilliant. I did use a resolution mod as at 1440p it looked, not so great as there are no in game video settings etc. As of yet.
There are also mods to allow more player's (Something like up to 12. Might be more now)
Anyway, there is nothing like listening to your mates screaming and legging it around when you have no clue where they are to even try to help out. And once your dead and get to watch everyone still alive, but can chat with anyone else that may of died is a blast to.
Can't recommend this game enough for the price as well.

I've seen lobbies with up to 40 people (!). I tried to join one, but I started lagging really bad and it was a sea of noise from all the mics. More players does also make it less scary, but good that it has the option. I'm surprised the mods have taken off so quickly with it, although it has been a bit of a surprise runaway hit, so I suppose with that comes interest/support. It's pretty impressive it has an all time peak of 200k players, with about 70k-100k average these days. Hopefully it carries on.
