Lets Forget 4k...Which GPU are best for 5K ?

4K is not even established for gaming, it's still far from it. Anyone who currently games in 4K on a 4K monitor can also pipe down, you are a fraction of an already minuscule market.

5K is absolutely obscene for gaming and will be purely reserved for the desktop use space.

Not really, if you got crossfire R9 290's 4k is fine and with the next gen cards they will more than likely be able to power 4k with one card. Always go for resolution then settings for me :)

I'd love one of these "5K" Quad QHD monitors. OSX's scaling is a league ahead of Windows.

Although I'd prefer getting that in 21:9. Hopefully Windows 9 brings much needed scaling improvements, and NVIDIA, along with AMD's new flagships have a decent jump in performance.

Ya know, all this talk of 4k. 5k Etc, iv had sky on my
Tv downstairs in hd at 1080 on a led tv for about a year now. And I thought it looked good. And iv never ever owned a plasma untill a month ago , I picked a Panasonic smart tv 720p plasma up off a friend for 40 quid for my bedroom, It's a few years old one of the first smart TVs and 3d etc. And honest to god, the picture quality is unbelievable, it puts my 1080 lg that cost 1200 quid a year ago to shame. It absolutely walks all over it. I never got a plasma because I always saw that most are lower resolution so I instantly thought it was worse :p Even after playing all the games I play at 1080 on ultra on my pc which look hands down fantastic, some moments of elder scrolls online I stop and look like wow. Then I get into bed and stick the news on on my plasma in hd freeview, and I'm like woah. That picture is superb. So why why does a 720 plasma I got for 40 quid and stuck a tv arial into look better than a pc that I can run games on ultra highest settings in 1080 24" dell ultra sharp thing, and a 1200 pound led with sky hd. ? Oh also the plasma is 42" the lg is 55" and I'd pick the 42" plasma over the dell ultra sharp and the lg tv any day for picture quality

Because plasma is usually better than LCD in many ways and you're comparing two different things with gaming and HD broadcasts on two different types of screen.

That's interesting about the Plasma's. My cousin has a half-dozen 42'' 1080p Plasma TV's that he can't shift because everyone thinks they're old tech.

There are very few plasmas out there that are better than current LCD in regards to TVs.

Unfortunately Plasma is practically dead because people want efficiency now, they were expensive to make and had their issues.

I've tried a couple in the past, they flickered, they were heavy, got very hot, and one had a terrible burnt in image. The problem with pausing live TV and watching channels with station icons in the corner. The image quality was great though, and dem blacks!! If you get hold of a decent plasma and it works for you, keep it.
