To my understanding, the benefit of bottom mount PSU cases is that those cases might/tends to have a fan/fan mounts for addition exhaust fan on the roof, as well as the PSU can intake cool air from the bottom directly, rather then the warn/hot air inside the case.Xigmatec Asgard. Although there are PSU-bottom cases available for very little more (well there are now - not so many when I bought mine) I preferred the look of the Asgard so I went with that knowing the PSU position makes naff-all difference to cooling anyway. I'd probably spec a PSU-bottom case in any spec-me thread now, just to avoid big.wayne's annoying 'thermally advantaged' nonsense preaching![]()
