To my understanding, the benefit of bottom mount PSU cases is that those cases might/tends to have a fan/fan mounts for addition exhaust fan on the roof, as well as the PSU can intake cool air from the bottom directly, rather then the warn/hot air inside the case.

i dont believe you. you looked at the sub total without tax, admit it. you thought youd try and stick a boot in like you always do.

Add: his other build includes windows 7 i see, but still he should be going i5 if hes spending around the £700 mark

personaly i dont think he will need it but if hes 100% sure hes going to flood himself with usb 3.0 devices and SSDs then be my guess with the extra £70 left from the £800 budget and get him a board with it.

not showed in the features clearly but it looks like it does. i guess your onto a winner here then Scone snap it up.

my god with that saving on the board he could probably get 2 460s now for around his £800 budget. but im xspecting sum1 to crap on this idea.

I checked it out on the MSI website. Says 'Y' to SLI and also says PCI-E Gen: Gen2 (1x16, 1x8). Suggests the slots can run 8x/8x (I didn't think 16x/8x was possible for P55??) though isn't crystal clear is it? Kinda seems too good to be true but thought I'd throw it in there.
