Golly you say ey.
Some of my friends are very posh private schooled all their lives people. So I'm constantly surrounded with things like :
"Hello old chap.."
"Gosh *****, I haven't seen you in ages you old squire, how the bloody hell are you?"
"Sweet, pub at 1830, tally ho old fella"
Damn army types lol.
Why am I reminded of the 'Porchmonkey' sequence from Clerks 2 here...
You're forgetting "Super" used in an over exuberant manner. Pronounced "Soup'er".
"Gosh, that's SUUUUUPPPPERRR! <add name here of the person you're talking to, usually called Alistair or Fredrick etc>."

I feel like I've done this quite a bit.Who has ever used certain words or sayings regularly and noticed people around you eventually picking them up?
Ditto!I say "crikey" far too much for my liking.
Yeah, I've done it a few times and it's pretty funny when you hear someone else come out with the same thing.Who has ever used certain words or sayings regularly and noticed people around you eventually picking them up?
