So I have become dissapoint with the internet. At one point some years ago it seemed like the net would change everything. It was effectively a database of the collective knowledge of all mankind, and a platform for which we could use to come up with ways of changing everything that was wrong with the world.

I genuinely believed this would be how the internet evolved and changed everything.

In practice however, this didn't happen. And in fact it's disappointingly STILL used as little more than an instrument for fapping and insuting other people.

So let's change this here and now by using this thread to solve all the worlds problems.

To add to the Moses:
We could all solve most of the world's problems, but people are greedy and selfish. We all want more and so get more. We then want even more and the cycle continues.
We all want more money, more stuff, more freedom etc and look after number 1 and say **** the others.

To be honest, that attitude has served us well so far. I'm pretty happy with the way things are.

The problem with a thread like this is opinions. And opinions are like ********... everybody has one and everybody thinks everyone else's stinks.

Seriously though. Threads like this and internet debate is pointless. It's nothing more than mental masturbation and an arrogant attempt to prove ones own self worth by using big words and pretending they know what they're talking about. And even when they do know what they're talking about, it doesn't stop them from being a vagina. And ultimately it does nothing but give you a headache and high blood pressure.

I know the feeling. It can be so much more than what you describe Most of the time all I see is people using it to display their ignorance on a grand scale or pick faults in others - most of the time with a high degree of pedantry and with the sole purpose of massaging their otherwise empty, sad lives.
