Next item I am thinking of upgrading is my CPU. But I don't want to get rid of my A64 Venice 3200+. I currently have it running at 2.1GHS on 1.40 stock voltage. I am pretty happy with it, but with me. I like cool systems.

Currently here in the dead of winter my CPU idels out at about 30C, and goes up to 42C on top load. Top load is running either FS9,or IL2 FB+AEP+PF for alittle while. Now I know those are not bad temps with stock cooling. But I like to keep my sytem cool. I dunno how long I will have this system, and I don't plan on upgrading to the new socket for at least a year to two years, but upgrading to a better 939 CPU is always an option.

Liquid cooling is out. I don't feel like dealing with the mess and I don't have the room. So air is the order of the day. I don't have much room in my case, and I really don't feel like trying to put a back brace on the back of my MoBo. So I am looking for a cooler that will be better then the stock HSF, but be about the same size and weight.

Any ideas?

Would suggest an Arctic Freezer 64 then - would suggest a Big Typhoon which is what I have but it is an enormous beast of a thing. The Freezer can be bought quite cheaply and offers very good cooling.
