So it goes like this:

1. HP VAN SDN is easily downloadable for a nice 60 day trial and you can install it on your home lab with mininet and it all integrates nicely

2. VMware NSX is almost impossible to get hold of unless you have corporate backing or a invitation only to their training courses last year

3. Cisco ACI is equally impossible to get hold of

So that leaves what? OpenFlow, OpenDaylight and HP amongst the big players, I would love to try out VMware NSX but you just cannot get hold of it unless you take on their remote HOL trial, why dont VMware release this as a trial product or better still extend their VMUG offering to include NSX for 360 day trial?

What do you think for those that this interest relates to?
