Letting agent slow to return deposit.

hi all,

after having agreed with the landlord to a figure on my protected deposit on saturday, the letting agent is seemingly taking his time to pay if back. simply stating he has not got round to it yet.

is there any thing i can do to give him the boot up the proverbial to speed this up?

Not really they have 10 days IIRC to pay it back.

Keep harassing them.

It took the letting agents over 2 months to get mine back for my last place because they couldn't get hold of the landlord. I pretty much had to do all their work for them in the end.

They even had the cheek to ask if I was gonna order the replacement part and drop it off to them!
