Leveling / smoothing a concrete to concrete join?

Hey folks, we recently had a small area of the driveway concreted, and where it meets the existing, there is a slight raise (the older concrete being slightly higher). Its about 2cm, no more.

Ideally it would be flush or just 'smoothed' for a rounder profile, is that possible to do? Any recommendations? I did think about angle grinding but that could be a bit O.T.T ?
It's the sort of thing in a house you would use a threshold to solve, but outside is a little different.

Get whoever done it to come back and do it properly it should have been leveled to
The original in the first place.

Complain say its a trip hazard etc

is ether side level ?, on 1st glance it looks like a separate strip added to the new/low side after shuttering was removed. if you can chip the new bit/low side edge down to 5 to 6 inch wide and deep then poor fresh concrete and smooth with a float between the two sides
