So a few years ago we had upvc windows put in to replace the original wooden ones. We decided to keep the wooden windowsills as they were in good nick. Ive recently been working through my to do list and im trying to level off the height difference between 2 mitred joins on the sills. Think a u shape with square corners type bay. Any ideas, i tried tapping the sill with a mallet but i dont want to go crazy (unless thats need).
