Hi there,

Does anybody have any experience of the lexicon mc1?

I have the possibility of getting one of these and a power amp for about £500 and am mulling over my options. I have a set of B&W 301's, 101's and cc6 as my speaker set which should be okay. However my source would then be a problem and I would need to look at budgeting for a new cd/dvd player.

Ideally this would also be about the £500 mark. Any suggestions?
 
thanks guys for the help, really useful information there. Looks like more money is being spent then, thank god for barclays savings scheme, or excessive bank charges as they are also known. :D

Shimmyhill- i will have to double check on the amp, from what my mate said i believe it is also lexicon, model forgotten, but this was after a few beers.
 
my mate works for a distributor and its for a guy who has upgraded and wants it to go to a good home and some cash for interconnects. My mate would have it, but he is all multi-room and in ceiling speakers so doesnt believe he would see the benefit and would prefer to pass it on.
