LFS, but also other racing games like TDU, how do you get rid off this (pic inside)?

How do you get off the jagged lines ( circled in red), I get than in LFS and TDU most noticably, I got 16Q FSAA on and 16X AF, I've got Supersampling enabled.
How can the jagged lined be made smooth ?

Indeed, jagged edges are simply a symptom of the resolution not being high enough. The problem is that because monitors display images as pixels (i.e. they are simply made up of discrete 'blocks' of colour), you will never entirely eliminate all jagged edges until we get very high resolution displays.

So... I should sell both my monitors and get 2 1920x1280 monitors instead to make jaggies a lot less visible?

No Geforce 8800GTS 512.

Tbh now that I did another lap, I definatly didn't have this on my 6800GS, wich ran LFS on same preset nvidia settings but then 8s AA instead of 16q.

6800GS did do this in TDU though.

Fixed it somehow :D.

I mssed with a bunch of nvidia panel settings and I think the Negative LOD bias setting helped it, I set it @ clamp, nvidia stock was ''allow''.
Also forced trilinear mipmaps ( forcing mipmaps was off as default).

Either of those 2 fixed it.

Well the white is textures not polys so its nowt to do with aa, its more to do with af. If its set at highest try a lower setting as it might not work properly at the higher settings tho i dont see why it would have probs, just worth messing about with af tho.

negetive lod bias would have fixed it, fixes it for me in nearly all games, but does cause severe texture smearing if not used with high ammounts of AF.

ive noticed this a fair bit, and a lot more in the railings on the side of the track on my old geforce, but on my radeon i dont get it at all. however, other people have reported the opposite, its all luck of the draw.

Well I certainly have enough GPU power for LFS, 16x AF is no problem at all :).

Are you saying that one 8800 might have it and the other don't ? Meh!

Heres 1 with 4x aa and 16af (no hq enabled tho) and no adaptive aa.

Logic says no, but 2 people with the exact same card, settings and that have shown me screenshots where 1 of them gets this and the other doesnt. I have no idea why and i doubt its even possible, but i dunno.
