LFS message to console 12

ok... how do I get kernel and module messages onto console 12?
I've go the logins to use consoles 1 through 11.... but I want the messages to go to #12 not the currently running console.... it's annoying when I plug USB stuff in and it plasters the console with crap I don't want to see.....

Also, I'd like to constantly run TOP on console 11 as root and have it auto respawn....

Any ideas?

Distro is LFS 6.1.1 in other words my own....
