LG 22LS4R & PC compatibility using HDMI

I have just ordered the LG 22LS4R but i can't seem to find any real info about PC comatibilty using the HDMI port, has anyone got one of these or knows if it fully supports PC connectivity through the HDMI port using a DVI > HDMI converter cable, if so, does the HDMI port support all PC resolutions upto 1680x1050, also, when using HDMI does the monitor go into standby mode when the PC is powered off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well i finally found the manual for the LG 22LS4R and it had most of the information that i needed, the resoutions it supports in PC mode over HDMI are listed below for anyone interested.

640x480
800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1680x1050 < optimal resolution

Even though these are the only resolutions listed in the manual when connecting through HDMI i would have thought that 1280x720/1280x768/1360x768/1440x900 resolutions would also be possible with this monitor.

I still have no idea if the monitor goes into standby mode if the PC is shutdown when using HDMI so any input on this point would be great.
