got this today, awesome, very vivid with xD one, :D

only problem is a lot of white bits at the top and bottom where the black bars are on movies, is this normal ?

biiiiiiiiiig problem!!!

when i set the screen to vga i had to change my resolution to 1680x1050, ive done this and now windows stretches off to the right off the display and on the left theres a small green bar and a 2 inch width black bar.

how can my screen not support its native resolution ?

managed to get to see the whole desktop now, still about an inch of a bar on the left, but everytime i turn it off and on or go to av1 and back to rgb it does "auto in progress" and auto sets itself wrong.

trust me to have a faulty screen :(

Don't you have a DVI cable ?

DVI does away with "auto" screen adjustments and all that guff

I dont im not sure if my gtx came with one ?

im going to buy one and hopefully it will work.

got the screen running fine but only at 1360x768 on the gtx, and only at 1024x768 on the laptop........... wont run at its native res using a vga-dvi adaptor.

Is that the problem then ?

The screen actually works fine at its native res for about 2 seconds before it auto adjusts itself. pity i cant turn off auto adjust, and on manual adjust i cant tune it enough before running out of digits.

DVI is the way to go, your GTX has 2x DVI ports, your screen should have come with a DVI and a VGA cable, well at least my Samsung and Dell screens came with both cables as did the HP 22" !

my screen only came with a power cable, not even a vga cable!

Interface: HDMI, VGA D-Sub, CVBS (Composite), S-Video, Component, SCART, PC Audio In/Out, RF Antenna Connection
which one out of these lot is DVI ?

id believe if there is no white input underneath then you would require a DVI to HDMI cable, which can be found most palces and auctions sites if needed.

the difference between this and the other tv tuner LG is HDMI ? im i right ?
