Hey guys,

Anyone know anything about monitors or general electronic repairs?

I have a secondary monitor the LG 23EA63 ,I'm not sure whats wrong with it.

Basically it has Intermittent Problems,When i sometimes switch on the monitor all i will see is a black screen, flashing power light..and it does nothing,It doesn't go completely off (so im assuming its receiving a signal from the PC at that time) but if i leave it for about 2-10 minutes it will finally show the image.

This problem is very intermittent because it doesn't do it all the time,Sometimes it comes on fine with no issues.

Do you think it could be Capacitor(s) issues?..i know they like to cheap out on caps these days in modern monitors,Or maybe the Driver board?

Its already been sent back once to an Authorized LG repair center and they said they fixed the issue (didn't say what the issue was) and it seemed fine for a few months but slowly the problems come back..i can no longer find my receipt,And LG support don't want to know unless i can provide this receipt.

Still having this issue,

I'm wondering if its the actual PSU brick that's defective as this monitor doesn't have your traditional PSU inside the monitor with kettle lead going in the back.
