Had this monitor for two days, my first led monitor.
Coming from a HP S2231A this monitor is brighter, has more vivid colours and also does not exhibit any changes in brightness when turned on. My hp would be very bright when you turned it on and would cool down, none of that with the LG.
The stand is not great and slightly unattractive and the whole monitor wobbles cheaply when using the buttons.
Upon plugging it in via dvi I did not calibrate at first or change any settings and the picture was very good. After calibrating and selecting GAME mode in the monitor OSD the monitor really came to life with vivid punchy colours.
This would be a great choice for a gamer on a budget who wants to really immerse themselves in their games with the aid of a large size screen.
It has hdmi, dvi and vga outputs. It also has a headphone socket which can be used when using hdmi.
Good for the money but won't amaze serious graphics designers.
