Hey guys, hoping there is a simple fix for this otherwise it's time for a new card and this one isn't that old...

My GPU has 4 ports, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI-I, 1 DVI-D and 1 displayport.

I purchased 2 of the above monitors and when purchasing was advised to use 1 HDMI cable and 1 DVI-HDMI converter. The issue here is that the monitor connected via DVI-HDMI is capped at 1920x1080 when it is supposed to be 2560x1080.

Would a displayport-HDMI 4k converter provide me the resolution I need?

TIA,

Brad.

Hiya

as the 25UM58 has only 2 x HDMI, I would suggest getting a DP to HDMI cable/converter, then you can connect one screen via HDMI-HDMI, and the second DP-HDMI

this will then remove the max res issue of DVI

Hi Dan, thanks for the reply.

I note that 'most' DP-HDMI converters are limited to 1920x1080 on the box too which still does not solve the issue I would assume.

Any knowledge of these 4K converters?

Brad.
