LG 27GL850-B Glow - Normal or faulty?

Had this screen for a week now and much like bbking's thread (https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...27gl850-need-a-27-or-32-alternative.18891272/) I'm getting bright white glow on the bottom left of the screen on blacks. There is some on the right hand side as well but it is warmer and a lot less distracting.
Is this the norm or is it just faulty? Being my first IPS I was expecting it to be a bit iffy at night but I can see it during the day/with lights on.

Brightness was at max/100 here. It did lessen with the brightness turned down but was still visible.

Anyway in LCD's you use brightness to adjust black and if that's high lower it.
It's contrast setting which affects white.

Full black screen. Bottom left is the glow, everything else is reflection.
