I don't post often so apologies if this is inappropriate or the wrong place to ask. I purchased a LG 27GL850 monitor from Overclockers last year, its great, does exactly what it says on box. I was hoping someone could offer some advice please, the supplied display port cable is very short, I am looking to replace it with a 3 meter version, not being technically minded and reading other peoples varying experiences of purchasing a replacement it would be great if someone could recommend a cable that will cause no issues and allow the monitor to operate to its full potential, the supplied cable works great, its just too short. I am also looking to replace the wobbly stand that the monitor ships with, my preference would be a long reach gas lift style arm, there are so many to choose from, reading around the web certain arms don't fit due to the quick release system for the supplied stand, I was again hoping that someone who has replaced their stand could suggest an arm that fits within the vesa quick release connection of the monitor, I do not wish to modify the new stand by sanding bits off etc, would just like one that fits out the box.
