Is this not the same monitor that a competitor is selling for £379. As I was actually thinking of buying it. Only difference is see is the dash B isn't on their listing.

Yeah something has gone wrong there, OcUK don't quite put THAT much margin on monitors! Competitor obviously got a HELL of a deal from LG!

Depends on your environment if ether of them is any good.
It does nothing to weakest point, which is same low contrast panel.
Actual contrast ratio is around 800:1, while there are competing IPS panels with contrast at 1300:1 level.

Yeah big name so better deal most likely and am guessing they will be shifting an obscene amount of them too. Looking forward to mine arriving.

Thanks, my current monitor is 1000:1 (advertised) so should be ok. Only thing stopping me atm is the massive stand
