So my LG 27GP850 monitor arrived today - which I am ‘trying out’ before I order a 4070TI build. I have gone from a 24” 1080p (used with a 1660 super). Trying to get my head around if I will send it back and go bigger (I read 27” is the sweet spot for 1440p but am now too sure myself). Also since ordering said monitor and having seen various 4070 reviews I am also thinking if I should change it to 4K if I do re order. I know the 4070 is often referred to a 1440p card but I can see lots of reasonable fps results for 4K. I will mainly be playing RTS / flight simulator (which I know also benefits from DLSS3 too). I would like to play at good settings - not bothered about Ray tracing.

The best size depends also on viewing distance.
So if you prefer long distance/leaning back on chair, 27" is really mediocre size.
(LG's bad contrast another possible issue if you don't keep bright room illumination)
Though for 4K 27-28" would be obviously even smaller.
