Got the Dell 29 which uses the same panel. It's superb in a word. I went for dell due to the height adjustable stand and a few other features, and the fact my other 24" monitor is a dell which I've always been very happy with.

Hi I was looking at the Dell as I've always used them to as I'm in the middle of selling 2 of my 3 dell 24" monitors.

I've read a few reviews and the LG seems better for gaming so will give it a try and see what it's like

if it's rubbish it will go back

Nice to see LG with an adjustable stand

will see how it goes if it's not up to scratch a Dell or the asus mx299q are next on my list

yep, have done fifa13, bf 3, metro ll , mass effect 3

And yes it plays Crisis lol

All played like a dream, and the colour rendition is excellent

Are these monitors any good for gaming. im looking at one but cant decide if I should go 29" ultra wide or get a 120mhz display?

I've read a few reviews saying it's good for gaming and I will get mine today so planetside 2 will be in widescreen

Well that was a waste of time

LIGHT BLEED right along the bottom left and even the wife noticed it,

Apart from that its very nice but could not get away with such a lot of bleed

Sorry the LG it's a very nice looking monitor and very well made but he light bleed was terrible

I wonder if OCUK will get the ASUS PB298Q. Seems to have a black surround and adjustable mount.

The Asus is lovely so much better than the LG and the sound quality from the speakers is very good also

Will try some games shortly and let you know
