LG 29EA93 any thoughts?

So what do people think, I currently have a 1900x1200 24" dell monitor which is starting to fall apart, now I would ideally like to keep the resolution but am considering this or a 144hz/120hz 27" option even though that means going down to 1900x1080 resolution.

So the big question is for FPS/Browsing with the occasional movies and TV viewing should i go 29" ultra wide or go for the extra refresh rate?

i have just bought its smaller brother (LG 24EA53) and in my opinion it is great. There are not many reviews for them yet. It all depends what you want it for.

Main use is FPS gaming secondary is office work/browsing

If gaming is your main, and you are fairly competitive, then 120hz is what you want. I'd recommend the BenQ XL2411T, especially if you use the lightboost "zero motion blur" trick, which is about as close as we've ever come to CRT level motion clarity on LCD/LED monitors.
