Hi, I've had the LG 31MU97 for about 8 months now, I've reciently had it RMA'd due to several developing faults (powering on/off then on, flickering and clicking noises) and recieved my replacement, The image quality does appear slightly better than the previous one (less greenish blue tint) but it has 2 minor faults which are affecting my work.
The first is the far left and most of the right of the display has a warmer tone than the central portion, this makes designing textures (the main reason I bought this display) a nightmare. A second fault which I've "lived with" is that there is a white spot (NOT a pixel) in the upper left central portion of the display, it's about 1/4 of a centimeter in diameter and if i look at it while moving my head it appears to be 'behind' the screen rather than on the screen itself. There is also some clouding in the upper left and lower right portions of the screen making it useless for work on darker textures.
It took overclockers 2 weeks to replace my last monitor and I can't really afford to go that long without it again without serious impact to my income. What options do I have?
