Looking on LG's site there seem to be two.... identical? versions of this montior. The "non-P" version they say OCUK stock, but on OCUKs website I only see the P version.... but I'm really not sure what the difference is?

Any ideas?!

Only difference I found in the specs is that the P version uses ~8W less. Perhaps P is for power saving?
Good spot, I hadn't seen that!!

I think I'd rather the non-P then, because that feels like a "we've reduced power usage by reducing peak brightness to satisfy efficiency legislation" type of change.

I've ordered this (with the P). Having spoken to LG (and someone else did in another region), the only change is power consumption. The brightness, coating etc is all the same. I guess it's like a car which has reduced weight but in a way that none of its features like creature comforts have been sacrificed (e.g. materials used).

It's a shame on the HDR thing but this is the best the market has to offer for a monitor good for productivity AND gaming.
