Anyone seen one of these in the store, or have one of these?

Seen this on offer in a local store for £299 and was wondering whether to go for it, but because it's a May model there doesn't seem to be any reviews what-so-ever on it.

Would be using it to watch abit of TV but mostly using it for gaming on my 360.

I just purchased one of these from my local John Lewis, £349 with a 5 year warranty.

I do realise Currys and Dixons have it instock, online only for £299 with just a 1 year warranty (£99 extra for a 5 year one). However, I wouldn't touch Currys or Dixons with a barge pole. Can I ask which local store you saw it in for £299? is it an independent or a chain? as I can make John Lewis aware of this within 28 days of purchase and they'll price match by refunding me the difference.

Initial impressions are so far so good and for the price I couldn't complain. The setup is very easy, I only have my Wii connected via Scart (HDMI has more problems surprisingly). Have yet to hook up a DVD player or my Macbook to output 720p divx's. I did fancy a Sony or a Panasonic but couldn't justify spending that much on something which would just be sitting in the conservatory all the time and wouldn't be the "main TV".

Sorry I was mistaken. I assumed that Curry's had them instore for the same price, but it looks like it's only an online deal :(

I used the term 'local store' because I know we are not meant to talk about competitors on here.
