LG 34GK950F vs Acer Predator X34P

I was originally set on getting the 34GK950F however the lack of stock, price rises and reading about some of issues people are having on a £1150 monitor is slightly worrying.

I notice the X34P is currently available from a retailer for £679.78 and wondered how these two would compare.

Is the X34P considered a good monitor at this price point?
 
Yes, at that price it's worth it. The LG is a slightly better spec, newer panel etc. but IMO is definitely not worth £470 more. There is no value in paying that much more.
 
Got the Acer X34P for £629.99 and it was a steal for that price, I do want the 950F for the 144Hz but it's not worth the extra moolah.
