LG 34UC87 Flickering

Anyone else own an LG 34UC87 ultrawide monitor and have issues with it flickering when connected only via displayport? its fine from the HDMI, i have learned to live with the light bleed not sure i can cope with this as well!

Don't live with the back light bleed... This is why these 21.9 monitors are plagued with bleed issues because people just "accept" it and you shouldn't have to... If you don't use your rights i.e. CCR then they are just going to keep chucking these panels out with little to no QC for a ridiculous price.

As for the flickering, try different DP cables.

tried 2 different DP cables a 2m and a 5m and its worse on the 5m which i thought was strange, i think i will have to RMA it but bought from a retailer that are notoriously bad for customer service!
