Happens like clock work you should see the C3 drop its overpriced tag hopefully fall of this year and then perhaps some sales early 2024 before the C4 launches.

I didn't see too many sales early this year for C2 though which was odd since last spring there was slightly better deals on the C2 its still possible COL is in effect.

Am hearing the C3 is decent, the support for calibration appears better supported also.

We had our production samples delivered this week so let me know if I can help with any basic checks etc!

Haven't got any calibration gear or service remote as we're a SW validation facility but, got the products here :)

That is a great job to have! So you got C4 production samples right?

There is not much I can think of testing wise, It might have been decent if the service menu still had the option to switch off TPC and GSR features
I believe for a lot of TV calibrators its giving them issues with certain calibration techniques and software and they relied on switching it off to get the picture more easily calibrated or properly at least.

That would have been a decent check but yeah you need the service remote for that one, you can do it via tools etc but its more risky so not worth it.

How does the general feel and speed of the menus and options appear?

Also any improvement on the bezels or is it still thick on the C series?

Any other good things you spotted?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear there! We just received production i.e. retail samples in proper boxes. That's what we keep in the lab for long term verification and testing.

Up til now we've had conformance samples which are the right board/firmware but often built into last year's panels or chassis.

So we've just received normal C3 (and other models/chipsets) in retail box, and we'd expect to receive the 2024 stuff sometime in autumn. But again it's likely to be on this year's panels and chassis :)

I may get a service remote anyway to have a play...

ahh nice, yeah the service remote is real handy just take pics of every screen even the settings inside those screens otherwise its so easy to default or make a mess of things.

Id like to see the C4 with bigger improvements, thinner bezels and MLA tech but perhaps asking a tiny bit too much :D

Tip incase anyone else comes across this, trying to watch 4k hdr on netflix with edge would black screen if my refresh rate was set to 120Hz. Had to set it to 119.88Hz

Got a good deal on a C2 this week and wow, it's taken a while to get used to having the extra height and no curve from my old 38" UW but very happy with it so far. Been thinking about changing to OLED for a while for monitor and regret not doing it sooner.

Sigh. So yeah if you install the netflix app on your pc it breaks edge 4k hdr. Uninstall the netflix app and you get the black screen again. Change the refresh rate again and it fixes the issue, I'm now back on 120Hz.
