The LG 50UH635V is available at JL now for £479, with 5 year warranty. Seems a fantastic deal to me, but I can't find much in the way of reviews. User feedback seems solid though. It's an MVA panel so blacks will be good, and as far as I'm aware the RGBW 'fake 4K' isn't an issue with anything other than the IPS panels LG use. Displayspecifications indicates that this isn't a problem either. I'm aware HDR won't be fully realised due it being 8-bit, but no TV below the £800 Samsung KS7000 is going to do much better, and this is nearly half the price!
I've no idea what the input lag on this is like, but apart from that it seems a great buy. Does anyone have one or know any more? I'm struggling to find a reason not to buy it...?
The only other set I was looking at and seriously considering at this price point was the Samsung KU6400, but it seems virtually identical in THIS COMPARISON... plus it's £70 more expensive.
