LG B6 Freesat users

Hi,

Hopefully someone can tell !e what I'm doing wrong as it's driving me round the twist .

Currently have Sky Q. Full strength signal. All fine .

My TV has a Freesat tuner. So I plug in one of the cables .And do the auto tune .

After a few mins it tells me it's found 140 channels and some radio ones as well.

But when I view any channel it just says no signal.

The really odd bit is it has all the Freesat channel logos etc.

I've tried the tuning process 10 times now. Same result every time.

Does anyone here have a b6 and are using Freesat?

Hoping it's not a faulty tuner .
 
I receive 141 channels on Freeview - are you sure that the autotuning is set to the satellite and not the aerial?
 
you have the hybrid lnb, with the separate coax feeds for non-sky-Q hardware ? where the tv can configure the lnb for polarization/frequency afaik
is the tv just getting the epg ? I would try manually tuning an individual channel too.
 
Well after googling like crazy it seems its because the SkyQ lnb doesn't work with Freesat. So I need to swap it for a hybrid unit.

I nearly ordered a humax 1100s as well, that would have been pointless.

@silverblack , thanks for the heads up. Seems like Freeview or sticking with SkyQ are my best options at the min.
