LG Blu Ray Drive

Not sure where to put this but hopefully someone will see it.

I've got this drive model GGC-H20L.

It wont play BR discs and both HD DVD and DVD disks look grainy.

There are a few posts about it on the forums saying it comes bundled with PowerDVD and they upgraded it and all is fine.

Well I cant seem to get it to upgrade. Just looking for people to help me out here really.

Might have to bite the bullet and get Total Media 3.5

I had the same problem when I first got the drive. It would play HD-DVD's but not blu-ray. I had to update the powerdvd software I got with it to play both formats, as unfortunately the newest powerdvd software doesn't support HD-DVD's.
