LG C2 or PG42UQ

I have a delimma, i am thinking of purchasing one of these 2 OLEDS purely for gaming at a desk.

Only issue is i like the PG42UQ for it's more PC centric features like the extra boost in Hz, Displayport, No ABL etc

The one big thing going for the LG C2 it's £400 cheaper, is the extra features of the PG42UQ worth the it?

I already have a 38GN950 and i want to upgrade to a larger display (i will be using this more for content consumption and work), i want proper HDR and i would like to get a bigger ultrawide but i have been put off the new 45 inch OLED ultrawides due to their much higher pricing and use of a shocking choice of 3440x1440 which is a regression of quality per size, the only thing going for it is the 240hz display.

And now that Overclockers have on pre-order the 45 inch OLED from LG, that's definitely put me off with the price!

Yeah, seen a few people come up with issues, but then i've seen a lot of other users happy with their purchase, especially after the updates

I feel maybe a 42 inch OLED Gaming monitor or the new 45 inch Ultrawides are just starting out and the ones we have are just not cutting it as i would like higher refreshes on the 42 inch with more PC like features while i feel the 45 inch Ultrawides have a shockingly low resolution and way to aggressive on the bend too. At those prices i'd rather not compromise features.

So i may just have to wait for better products to come out, can't see much happening this year for monitors, so maybe next year we will start seeing better models of OLEDs for Ultrawide and Large format.
