The problem I am having is every time I try and put the HDMI on for the firestick there is a blank screen, I have tried everything with this. This is only happening since the tv updated to webos 24 it was perfectly fine on 23.
The firestick is plugged into the mains not powered just by the TV I have tried every HDMI port, I have tried the firestick with and without the male to female extender. I have tried enabling and disabling HDMI-CEC on both devices.
Going into Universal control settings on the LG it does see a picture of the firestick but when you put HDMI2 on then all you get is a blank screen and to get it working you have to remove the stick put it in another HDMI port and start all over again, though soon as you turn the TV off it happens again.
When you also go into Universal control settings and try to set it up there is no option for the firestick device in there
This must be an LG issue not a firestick issue seeing that it works on another TV perfectly fine.
Anyone else had this issue? waste of time going on LG forum no one ever answers any questions on it.
