LG Chocolate - How much and where from?

Seen this phone on TV adverts a couple of times.

I think its what I want to replace my 8800 with, problem is where the hell do I get one from?

Corect any of the CPW group.

I've had the same problem, but I know one thing the LG is not the one! Far from it. :eek:

! The 8800 is a one off top of the range phone, nothing comes close in class. Why not get a black one to tide you over untill Aug when the W950i comes out, thats a smart looking bit of kit. If you go by price (that should show how exclusive its going to be) the Choc can be had free on a £19 p/m 12 month.

Was gonna post something like this.

After a chocolate bar myself. But all the places I've seen require me to order with a credit card and some people, like myself, don't have one.

With Orange at the moment, contract due up at end of this month and was thinking of changing network as Orange will probably do their "You're an existing customer so tough luck on the upgrade" routine that they're famous for.

O2 used to have a scheme where you'd give your bank account details without a credit card and order online but they don't seem to have the LG Chocolate at their site.

Its funny you should say that, juts after I said you can only get it from CPW I also found it on the O2 site, have another look or call them.

No, thats true, but my god it looks good. At the end of the day imo I either want the nuts phone in terms looks or tech, so most f the time I either go for i-mate or Nokia in the respective fields. I say most of the time looking at the SE M600 now.

They look pretty decent, but if you want a similar phone with more features, take a look at the Samsung E900 (although it's in short supply at the moment). It is a touch screen slider with Samsung's new UI and has a 2MP camera, MP3 player (takes expansion cards), etc etc.

LG looks good, i've heard some say the screen/buttons are like an ipod surface and scratch easily though.

They give you a soft pouch, some screen covers and a soft cloth to keep it clean and scratch free.
How well they work together tho is the question.

i should be getting one friday morning for my girlfriend, i wouldnt choose it over my 8800 but il have a play with it and see what its like
