LG D2542P

You will probably have better luck trying to search for its 23" sibbling which has garnered more coverage; the D2342P. The D2542P is simply the 25" member of the same family of passive 3D monitors. Passive 3D is something that LG has been pushing out and raving about recently on its new line of 'Cinema 3D' TVs and monitors. You can read more about how the tecnology (FPR or Film-type Patterned Retarder) works and the recent history behind it over on TFT Central here. Bear in mind the potential limitations highlighted in the first article involving distance between the screen and optimal experience - will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Thanks for the link,i did read something similar on another site about that.I was thinking, with the 2d/3d conversion,it would be a cheaper route to get into 3d (for tv films etc) than buying a whole new big screen tv.Will have to wait for reviews/prices i guess
