Got this monitor just over a week ago now but have had an issue where half the menu options or so would be greyed out as if i can't use them. The software installed fine however the driver wouldn't, everytime i tried to install it would say installation aborted so in the end i installed it via the monitor tab using the have disk method which didn't seem to make a difference from the generic driver other than showing the name on that tab.

I just want to get all the menu options working but no idea what i now have to do, surely there must be some driver or some work around? or is it because it's very new there may be some issues currently on windows 7 with it? (which i am using.)

Please help, this is frustrating.:(

EDIT: Checked the software too, it apparently says unknown as my monitor so all options of that is greyed out too.(even did a factory reset which didn't help.)

So anyone got a LG monitor and experienced this issue with Windows 7? basically when you go to change resolution of the desktop it says your monitor model name there but when i go to the advanced settings menu where there is a monitor tab it just says generic pnp there.(this is causing not all my functions to work on my menu on the monitor features, i've found no fix for this but this monitor is around a few weeks old i think? also the monitor software says the monitor is unknown so no features work there either so it's definetly a driver issue i guess...)

Even emailed LG support but the guy said LG monitors use the windows 7 driver but didn't say why half of my features on my menu wasn't useable.
