I'm looking forward to the LG E2391VR:

Currently using a DELL 2007WFP and want something stylish to replace it.

Gorgeous isn't it.

:)

I may have the wrong idea, however it looks like the screen still has a large bezel. It just appears to be sunk behind the glass.

It maybe lighting and reflection throwing me, I fear smoke and mirrors.

There may be an initial markup beyond this but it's essentially similar to the E2290V as a concept but larger and somewhat more desirable. Given that the E2290V's current RRP is just over £200 I would expect the E2391VR to come in at £260-£300. Should drop a little a few months after launch.

The "bezel" or at least the width of non-viewable screen at the edge is 3/4 that on the older screen.

The first picture makes it look like it's only 1/4 the width

ITS A TRAP!

^^^ that was discovered already by post 4-5

Doesn't bother me still looks gorgeous. I'm more interested in the panel quality.

Looks lovely but.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen are we going to see higher res monitors than crappy 1080p!!

I'd love that in a 24" frame and something like 1400p

Its brother also looks good, the 'LG D237IPS'.

3D with IPS panel.

"While most current 3D monitors in the market are still using TN panels, LG has decided to break this mould with an IPS-based FPR 3D monitor that the company will unveil in a couple of days at IFA 2011. The new monitor is called the D237IPS. which will offer a 3D ready panel in Full HD resolution."

I thought LG would have learnt from their previous offering (D2342P) that FPR technology simply isn't optimal for a PC monitor. Obviously they want to sell it to mugs who are taken in by its sleek looks and the thought of '3D IPS' but don't get your hopes up. ;)
