Hi.

I received our new E7 yesterday and everything works fine until it comes to connecting the PC.

I've changed the HDMI input to GAME and named it PC.

Issues so far: -

Assassins Creed origins - looks horrific and after enabling HDR in the menu's the image looks just as bad and despite being full screen, it's only displaying in a small window. Also horrendous input lag just in this game

Fallout 4 - seems OK so far

Wolfenstein - the New Colossus - seems OK

All games - bad screen tearing at bottom of display even though V-Sync enabled in game and NV control panel.

Windows desktop - very flickery (only tried it in 4k so far)

I'm hoping it's just the temporary old'ish HDMI cable I'm using (while waiting for the TV to be wall mounted where the cables are already in place). I've ordered a new one with 4k capability etc which arrives tomorrow. This is also maybe why I keep losing the input signal when I quite out of a game.

Can anyone suggest anything I can try in the meantime? My main concern is how utterly bad AC:O looks.

Thanks

Change the HDMI cable.

B7 does 1080p @ 120hz, so the E7 should as well.

By the way, when HDR is enabled in games, you need to scroll through the picture modes to select 'HDR Game' otherwise the input lag will be horrific.

What GPU do you have?

I have a Titan XP (well 2 but only enable SLI in the relevant games)

Tried a few other games this morning - The Division, Prey etc and all seem fine, all apart from AC:O which is probably to do with the HDR setting and possibly because the temporary cable is only 2.0 (I'll try the 2.0a which has just arrived this evening)

Thanks
