LG IPS231P power button fault

Morning guys,

Just enjoying my morning brew at work and the mrs messages me saying whats wrong with the monitor??

Was fine when I left home seems the power button was pressed right in and when you try and press it its very lose it wont switch on or off.

now if it was set in the on position it would be ok but its not and now im a little ****ed!

although ive wanted a new monitor for a while still doesn't seem right to get rid because of this fault.

Anybody have any ideas any manual/alternative solution to switch it on and off? or replace the switch/power button?







any body help?

You could try wiggling it back into place, it looks like its just come free a little, this is quite common with those buttons.

this was my thoughts just hope I can do it, shes not got a clue so hopefully when im home I can sort it.

Just the timing for the weekend which is great no gaming if I don't sort it
