8800 GTS Issues

Ok I appreciate some help on this one as I've tried almost everything.

I have just recieved 2 of these monitors (LG L194WT 1440x900) . Set them up as usual (Dual Screen), turned on pc, to my horror monitor #1 was sharp and very crisp (very nice too) and monitor #2 was very blury and had trouble reading words etc. So I swaped the dual DVI cables around on my graphics card and now monitor #2 is sharp and monitor #1 is very blury. At least I know its not the monitors that are duff. So I restared PC and now both are very blury

What ever I do nothing seems to work. I assume its a software/setting issue. I have tried latest drivers for monitors and graphics card but to result. I have tried fiddling with the DPI and resolutions and no result. I'm running XP Pro SP2.

Any ideas on this one?

*Update

ok, I have managed to get Monitor #2 sharp again by playing with the scaling options on the Nvidia control panel (from Nvidia scaling to device scaling). I try and do the same for Monitor #1 and it does nothing, doesnt even refresh the screen before it says "are these settings ok?"

I noticed that what ever monitor is blured, the signal going into it is 1280x1024 and the monitor thats sharp is 1440x900. The 8800 GTS and windows both tell me that 1440x900 are going to both monitors.

I'm starting to dought if the 8800 GTS can perform dual screen 1440x900.

Sorry to hijack your thread dude, but do you notice any ghosting in movies (the end credits are perfect for showing it) or games?

Since it's to damn cheap to resist, but I saw one set up in urine world and noticed slight ghosting, but their set ups are awful and make all monitors look bad.

Just ignore me if you don't want to derail the thread :D

Not too sure but you could if there is any, install the drivers for the monitors (you didn't say if you did), try setting a custom res of 1440 x 900 in the driver settings and set the gfx card to do the scalling. give it a go, might or might not work.

I'm yet to get both screens working I'm pretty sure its a Nvidia control panel issue now NOT the monitors. I did have one working perfectly and it was mega sharp. Very good blacks and very slight ghosting, I think its rated at 5ms. My friend has one and has done a mini review Here its under Hardware in the menu. Go check it out.
