Hi all,
found this monitor whilst browsing through one of the many cebit reviews it looks amazing, it sure will add some competiton to the 20" market, i found it for sale in the USA for $499 so it should be resonably cheap i hope

http://us.lge.com/products/model/detail/computer products_lcd monitors_20 inch_L203WT.jhtml

the specs make it look like a TN but im not sure

1680 x 1050
300 cd/m2 (typical)
1400:1 (DFC)
8 ms
15-pin D-sub, DVI-D

looks sweeeeeeeet though

the thread was confusing as half the people said it was an AS-IPS and other people were saying it was a P-MVA from AU optronics and then it turned into a TN  anyone any ideas which one it is

yeah thats what i thought, but in that link above they are the models in the USA and they think its a TN, but in japan they are being reported As some sort of 8 bit panel (s-ips or p-mva) who knows what one we will get, it will be best waiting for some solid evidence on the panel type, is their any solid evidence that the NEC is actually an AS-IPS

cheers badass, ive seen the review at tft central and i saw the screen shots which didnt onvice me it was any better than my 1970gx also do you have the panel model number for the NEC 20 widescreen and are their any other screens that use the same panel as i like the specs but not the glossy finnish
