LG L204WT?

Ok heres some pics, the light in my room is terrible so i appoligise for the camera shake. Also i know the curtains are a nightmare, but its student accomodation, what do you expect!

Viewing angles don't look at all bad. I bought a Samsung SM913B last year which was TN and the viewing angles on it were terrible, much worse than that, so it's kinda put me off TN monitors, but after seeing those shots I think I'm willing to try TN again. Those viewing angles look nearly as good as the Samsung 172T I'm using now which is PVA. Lots of screen space too which is exactly what I'm after.

Think I'll be getting one of those next month once the car insurane is paid.

Hmm the stand would put me off. I actually prefer the stand on my old LG L1710B than that! :O

nice pics hyper_piper45. Can you do me a favour and check the L204WT's factory OSD menu? I believe you need to turn off the screen while holding the "menu" button, and then turn it back on holding it. It should show some panel information. Would be interested to hear what it says

those viewing angles look as good as ips panels to me, more like 170 or 178 than 160 degrees at least from waht ic an tell

Looks like it's listed as having the CPT TN Film panel which seems to be that provided with initial stocks. Any chance of a picture of the screens viewing angle from below looking up? about 45 degrees and 80 degrees?

I'm confused now... I've just been looking at that 19" 1440x900 screens but now I'm tempted by this LG. I'm now looking for a 1680x1050. My biggest concern is the TN panel. Just how bad are they?

Are there any better 1680x1050 panels than the LG L204WT for under say £300?
