LG L226WTQ gradient problem.

so i got one of these

and when playing some movies or even if an image is dragged across the screen it starts to show colours gradiented. i think its something called "gradient barring". basically its got problem with moving images and colours get gradiented.

anyone got the same problem?

ok i saved that image on my desktop moved it about (up and down actually)

i tried to take photo using my phone

when static

and when moving again

have you tried calibrating the screen as well at all?

i have tried calibrating it but still the same.

looked in monitor OSD but coudnt find anything to do with overdrive

it could be a fault, i might consider contacting lg for a replacement

come on you guys with this LG, let me know if you got the same problem

not at home yet, i try when i get home, fingers crossed it will work.

EDIT: got the menu and options are LPL22W.G.4 and LPL22W.4 and CMO22W.4, switching between them dont seem to change anything

other settings are CLEAR ETI, AUTO COLOR, AGING and NVRAM INIT but agains no differnce when switching between them

edit:just seen your edit above, those look like panel types not screen models. CMO for instance is one of the LCD panel manufacturers, presumably the other two would be LG panels. Unlikely they would differ much, they'll all be 6 bit TN panels, and none of them should have banding.

so i just leave it at one of them LG ones see what happens. this monitor is really ****ing me off :mad:
