pre orderd this for 200 quid but now the price has risen to 230 so dunno where i stand.

on the site its on there are 19 reviews but its not even out yet! should i cancel ?
 
Technically they haven't risen the price on you because you haven't paid anything as they don't charge you till the item is shipped, if you talking about where I think you are.

I also had a pre-order for that model but got tired of waiting, got the 20" version. Gotta say it's a mint monitor.

I'd recommend you just hang on (or get the 20" one, just as good hehe)

Also for your enjoyment I tired to capture the viewing angles with my camera. Not sure if it shows with the camera but I found that the horizontal angles were quite good however vertical angles are in comparison poor (especially from below)






Yes I am aware that all the pictures are randomly different resolutions... must be something my mate did to my camera lol.

But if anyone has any questions about the monitor I'll be glad to try and answer them.
 
JsD, cheers for posting the pics up, just seen this screen for sale and wondered what it was like.

Is it more a TV or is it just as good for PC display?

I'm looking really for a PC TFT & something to run my 360 through, would this be something to look at?

Just been checking it out and if its from the site the popular site that am thinking your on about you wont be recieveing it until at least June, others are having the same problem, the money not coming out, but order acknowledged.
 
This looks a great bit of kit mind, i cannot believe it tbh, something must be up, JsD we need more info, do a full review since no one else on the net has!

From what I have been bale to establish so far it works incredibly well for both general PC usage and for TV/Other media.

That said I haven't been able to do exhaustive tests yet on it.

As for doing a review, yeah sure I'll do one, but I don't know what things I need to be looking at in particular, and I'm not sure I have the proper means of testing it either.

Good man, just give it your best shot.

Look at the TFT reviews here at OC by forum members and follow that guide.

There are hundreds of people waiting on the screen and you've got it and no one is reviewing it yet, so be the 1st!!!
 
Ok writing a review, following the guide by badass, but won't be done till later today as I shall be going house hunting shortly. :D

And whilst I wont be able to include it in the review right now, I should have a PS3 arriving soon-ish, so when I get that I'll also test it with the monitor and add it onto my review.
 
Sorry for the revival, just wanted to let the folks know that I've done my review, and sent it off to baddass.

Hopefully I'll get it back again soon so I can post it ;)

*Edit* Oh and sorry it was later than I advertised, been having some real problems with my halls internet :(

4 Months - outch! Do you know what the issues are out of curiosity - interference from the tuner?

Also you should encourage LG to use a digital tuner on any future panels like this.
