Heads up if anyone is looking for a bonkers tv, insiders have the new object collection thing going on just now, the G2's were 50% off so i imagine the same.

I still can't believe I have one of the best 77" OLED TV's on my wall and it cost less than my 65" C9 did in 2019.

Apologies but could you please explain? Object Collection Thing?

Also tried to call Smiths and no one answers and their chat is off, it also now appears that AV Lounge are showing OOS on the C1. So the next best price seems to be £1099 which is less of a bargain considering i can get a C2 for £166 more from Costco.. Hummmm....

EDIT: Looks Like Crampton And Moore have stock at £999

Think I've just managed to get a c2 42" for £800, can't wait to try it out. Hope I've not been mislead on how good oleds are tho.

Well I've just replaced a Samsung Plasma which I ran for years, with a Samsung S95B QD OLED, and I'm blown away by how good it is.

Inky blacks, colours that pop, amazing detail, even SD looks good.

Makes my old plasma look like an Etch-a-Sketch in comparison.

I'm coming from a Samsung 6400 so I'm hoping the upgrade should be suitably big.
I'm 100 miles from the nearest store that would have oled on display, so it's a step into the unknown.

I had a h6400 and whilst it's still a great 1080p TV if calibrated, oled will blow your mind

It's 4k but yeh I hope so, gsync and proper hdr I'm very much looking forward to.

FFS! Tried to order from Smiths - Wont log into account properly, tried to order from Crampton and Moore and when i try to add to the basket it says requested quantity is not available even tho its showing as in stock.

Thanks i did notice that but i have had an account before but cancelled a while ago. My C1 is all ordered, paid for and being delivered on Monday. I believe they also only have the C2.

I am using an LG C2 42" as a PC monitor.

Sound settings on the PC has 'LG TV SSCR2' selected and I can see the green bar sound moving up and down but no sound is coming out of the TV.

Any ideas?

It's on 15.
