So I saw this earlier today, basically a 42 c2 oled, which can be curved or used flat and has a more anti reflective coating, 25% they say. No display port, still 4K, still only 120hz....

Seriously, if they upped the refresh rate, added display port this would be an instant buy from me...

LG said “no display port as most pc gamers are on HDMI“ lol....how out of touch these multi billion $$$ companies are, amazes me.
What they have done here is give us what we lacked from the new 21:9 flex monitor that Corsair also offer, aka 4k, 16:9. But lacks the display port and 240hz, I mean Jesus, talk about missing the mark twice....

Cash remains in my pocket until they can tick all boxes that matter, only compromise I’d make is I’d be happy to use HDMI.

What's wrong with only 120hz, seems fine to me considering the monitor is 4k not many games going to push 120 at that resolution anyway.

Once you go 240hz, there is no going back. It’s not just about gaming, it’s about general day to day use, its so much smoother in usage, even YouTube is much more enjoyable, as a centre stage, large monitor do-it-all purpose, it needs a higher refresh.

Also, even current gpu‘s can push plenty modern titles way above 120 fps at 4k, let alone more competitive games that get there easily. Then consider the new gpu’s coming, they will take us to 240hz 4k easily, even in modern titles.

This is not just a C2.

* Firstly it bends

* it has features the C2 does not - for example it can display two images from two different HDMI sources at the same time.

* It has a non-glass matte screen, the C2 is a glossy glass screen.

* Unlike the Corsair curved monitor, this one is motorised controlled - you press a button on a remote and it changes its curve, no need to get out of your seat and physically bend it with your hands

* The stand also has height adjustment and swivel which the C2 does not.

* It has a built in noise cancelling mic, so you can play multiplayer games without needing a headset

Moan more, I think it's awesome
Same, I’ve been using a Samsung 32” G7 for sometime now and cannot see myself going back to flat screens, never before has a monitor been so relaxing on the eyes, never have eye fatigue...feels natural and immersive, you don’t even notice the curve when gaming, you just notice how natural it feels.

Exactly. Curved for me too. Only thing I am wondering and hope it has is pc sleep and wake-up when you use the pc.
I can’t stand to turn my monitor off and on all the time.
If it is over $2000.00. I am out.
paying $3200 for a Oled for Pc is risky.
I heard it will be $3200 and that is too much for me. Will be getting Asus 42 Oled.
