This is a very odd issue. My TV is an LG OLED 55C6V and I have an Asus RT AC66U which has a WD 1TB HDD attached to it via USB. All video files play fine from there via DLNA.
I setup my WD My Cloud NAS drive and copied the video files over. Now a lot of them do not work and I have noticed that the ones that don't work have the following encoding(?) -
VIDEO
Frame Width: 1920
Frame Height: 808
Data Rate: 2498kbps
Total bitrate: 2722kbps
Frame Rate: 23.98 frames/second
AUDIO
Bit rate: 224kbps
Channels: 6
Audio sample rate: 48.000kHz
The video files that DO work have the following encoding -
VIDEO
Frame Width: 1920
Frame Height: 808
Data Rate: 8941kbps
Total bitrate: 8941kbps
Frame Rate: 23.98 frames/second
AUDIO
Bit rate: 64kbps
Channels: 6
Audio sample rate: 48.000kHz
Any ideas folks? Just to reiterate - the files that don't work from my NAS will work fine from the USB HDD attached to my router.
